The July issue of Vanity Fair is sure to generate chatter around the world.

It features the headline "Call me Caitlyn" across a portrait of a woman who will be familiar to anyone who picks up supermarket tabloids or who watched the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.

Below, you can see a video of photographer Annie Leibowitz taking intimate photographs of Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner.

"The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person," Jenner says. "It's not about the fanfare. It's not about the people cheering in the stadium."

Nor was it about walking down the street and people giving "Bruce" a pat on the back.

"This is about your life," Caitlyn emphasizes. "Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day, he had a secret from morning till night. Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets.

"As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free."
