The Georgia Straight presents the Straight Series featuring Lord Huron

Live Nation has announced that Los Angeles-based indie-folk band Lord Huron will play a show at the Commodore Ballroom on January 23, 2014, as part of the Straight Series. 

Originally a musical and visual solo project by lead singer and Michigan native-turned-Angeleno Ben Schneider, collaborators now include Mark Barry (percussion, vocals), Miguel Briseno (bass, percussion), and Tom Renaud (guitar, vocals).

The band’s debut album, Lonesome Dreams, continues to garner widespread praise.

Tickets for the 19+ show are priced at $20 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (October 4) at 10 a.m. but Straight readers can take advantage of our exclusive presale on Thursday (October 3) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. by going to the Ticketmaster website and submitting our exclusive presale password huron.
