Best idea ever: how about a yoga lane on the Burrard Bridge?

Premier Christy Clark's plan to shut down the Burrard Bridge for the International Day of Yoga didn't exactly go over well.

But perhaps B.C.'s yogi-in-chief was being too ambitious.

So, here's a proposal for June 21 that surely the B.C. government, yogis, Lululemon, YYoga, LNG companies, drivers, and pedestrians can all get behind.

How about we install a yoga lane on the Burrard Bridge?

Presumably, cyclists won't mind giving up their separated southbound lane for one serene day of Downward-Facing Doggedness.

If you don't like this idea, the B.C. Liberal MLA for Westside-Kelowna has some words for you:

By the way, while we're adding a yoga lane, why not a massive Pride rainbow too?
