Deadpool destroys Vancouver in new trailer

Hey, remember when it used to rain in Vancouver? No? Well, some scenes from the trailer for Deadpool, which has finally hit the internet, might remind you of what it was like.

There are plenty of shots of our city, particularly of the Georgia Viaduct, which the film shoot shut down in April.

If you remember, there was also off-set drama when a photographer hit the star of the film, hometown boy Ryan Reynolds, with his car.

Anyhow, the trailer shows exactly what we'd expect in an R-rated big-screen adaptation of the Marvel comic about the Merc with a Mouth: hyper-violence, sex, mega-violence, sarcasm, and ultra-violence.

Colossus (of the X-Men) makes an appearance (though he looks quite different from the X-Men movies).

The movie is slated for release on February 12, 2016.
