LITERARY EVENTS

A writing and book camp lets youth with a passion for reading and writing connect with well-known authors and illustrators. Held at the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch.

MOVIES

The Vancity Theatre screens director John Pirozzi's music documentary Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock & Roll (pictured above).

GALLERIES

The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art features an exhibition on masterworks created for Kwakwaka'wakw potlatches.

The Vancouver Art Gallery hosts an exploration of the work of the Pritzker Prize–winning Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron.

At the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, you can see works by Chinese master calligrapher Don Wong and Vancouver-based artists Bryan Mulvihill and Lam Wong.
