#FestivalStyleWatch: A bespoke look for a rainy festival day

    1 of 1 2 of 1

Greetings fashionistas and happy Drake day. Not to be a bummer or anything, but according to the app on my phone, there is a 60 percent chance of showers at the Squamish Valley Music Festival today.

However, just because it’s going to be pissing on us during A-Trak, A$AP, and Drake, doesn’t mean you can’t pull off an effortlessly stylish festival look. Sure you could bring an umbrella—compact ones are allowed on festival grounds—but those are for tourists and it is literally impossible to look cool while holding an umbrella.

A far more appealing alternative is to DIY it with a bespoke, sleeveless garbage bag top. You can go high-end with a Glad, but in the above I’m rocking a Life brand Gripe & Tie, which has a 67-litre capacity and, if you are to believe the tagline on the box, is “strong and dependable”.

Completing my #ootd is a pair of Acne skinny jeans and my trusty Nike Air Force 1s. The net result is an outfit that screams “Come at me, rain. I’m gonna have fun during Drake day and, most importantly, I’m gonna look good while doing so".
