Sexting may be good for your sex life. And it seems practically everybody does it.

More than 80 percent of adults send racy text messages to their partners, according to research by Philadelphia’s Drexel University presented at the American Psychological Association’s recent annual convention in Toronto.

Not only that, but the more a couple sexted, the more sexually satisfied the two tended to be, regardless of how long they'd been together, the researchers found.

The study involved 870 American adults between the ages of 18 and 82. It found that nearly 88 percent reported having sexted in their lifetime and 82 percent reported sexting within the last year.

Home was the most frequently reported setting for sexting (76.1 percent), while almost 30 percent of participants reported work or “out and about” as prime sexting locations.
