Pavel Bure ready to be honoured by Canucks

      The Vancouver Canucks will retire the Number 10 uniform worn by the Russian Rocket, Pavel Bure, later today at Rogers Arena.

      The Hall of Famer's jersey will be raised into the rafters alongside those of former captains Trevor Linden, Markus Naslund, and Stan Smyl.

      It will take place in a pregame ceremony before the Canucks face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are coming off three straight victories.

      The top scorers for the Canucks and Leafs, Henrik Sedin and Phil Kessel respectively, each have 18 points.

      Tonight, the Canucks will be missing David Booth, Dale Weise, Jannik Hansen, and Jordan Schroeder, who are all on the injured reserve list.

      The game will also mark the return of Mason Raymond to Rogers Arena. The former Canuck has five goals and six assists since joining the Leafs this season.
