Independent theatre owner Ken Charko is inviting all veterans to come see a movie on the house.
The Dunbar Theatre, located in Vancouver's West End, is offering free movie tickets to veterans from now until November 11.
In a press release, Charko said, “Our veterans put their lives on the line for our country, and I want to recognize that and thank them for their service.”
To catch a free showing, patrons must present their Veterans Affairs Canada card at the box office.
The theatre is currently showing the Harrison Ford-helmed sci-fi flick Ender's Game.
