Hair salon for gamers and geeks coming to New West?

Vancouver already has restaurants that cater to gamers and geeks—specifically, the Storm Crow Tavern and EXP Restaurant + Bar.

According to entrepreneur Ryan Paul, a specialty hair salon is what's needed next. He's planning to open B-Bombshell in New Westminster.

So far, Paul's crowdfunding campaign has raised more than $5,600 of its $50,000 goal. The deadline for contributions is December 7. Here's a little bit of Paul's spiel on Indiegogo:

We don't plan on having Yoshi chairs or Call of Duty murals on the wall. B-Bombshell is going to be a full-service hair salon with a dusting of geeky elements decor-wise, but in a tasteful way. We're also not going to be focusing on giving people video game or anime hair necessarily (unless you want it). We do plan on partnering with the cosplay community to help with wig styling and makeup application and tips, but that's much different than what you're going to wear on your head every day.

You know, that's too bad about the Yoshi chairs.
