The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Into the Forest at VIFF

On October 3, 6 pm, the Vancouver International Film Festival presents a screening of Into the Forest at the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts (777 Howe).

Writer-director Patricia Rozema's film details the lives of two sisters (played by Ellen Page and Evan Rachel Wood) who live with their father in the remote West Coast mountains.

When their resources and links to the outside world gradually start to disappear, the two sisters fall into a fight for survival that tests their endurance and their bond.

Into the Forest is based on the popular novel by Jean Hegland.

Tickets for Into the Forest are $16 and $14 and can be bought online in advance.
