Live Nation has just announced that alternative hip-hop/electropop duo Twenty One Pilots will play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sunday, April 10. (The group's December 9 show at the Vogue Theatre is sold out.)

The Ohio-based act, composed of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, will be performing tunes from its latest album, Blurryface, which was released last May.

Instead of selecting one producer for Blurryface, the band chose producers based on what a specific song needed, working  in various studios with Mike Elizondo, Tim Anderson, Ricky Reed, and Mike Crossey.

“We felt like this album had so many different aspects to it we wanted to make sure we had the best guys on those particular songs that matched with what we thought made sense,” notes Joseph in a press release. “The one thing Josh and I always had in mind when we were making this record was: How is this going to look and feel live? A lot of the writing came from wanting to create something that we would actually love playing in front of people every night.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at Live Nation.
