TEDxVancouver has unveiled its finalized list of speakers for 2015 with a few big names added to the list.

Among them are former Vancouver mayor Sam Sullivan, “planetary entrepreneur” Scott Larson, and Prevail, whose career with hip-hop group Swollen Members has seen him win four Junos Awards.

Also appearing on the latest list of additional speakers is Tom Waller, who heads a Lululemon research and development unit called the Whitespace Workshop; Ivan Coyote, a stage performer who’s scheduled to speak on the topics of gender identity and gender-neutral bathrooms; Michael Yahgulanaas, a visual artist who blends Haida iconography with contemporary Asian influences; and Marcelino Da Costa, founder of the hip-hop collective Ground Illusions and grassroots youth leader.

Those seven new names join a list of 22 speakers total that includes Mohamed Fahmy, a Canadian-Egyptian journalist who was recently released from more than a year spent in a Cairo prison; Kaitlyn Bristowe of The Bachelorette fame; and John Herdman, head coach of the Canadian Senior Women’s National Soccer Team.

The complete list is available at TEDxVancouver.com.

The event happens Saturday, November 14, at Rogers Arena.
