JFL NorthWest has just announced the addition of more comedy greats to its lineup, including Margaret Cho, Eddie Pepitone, Michael Che, Ari Shaffir, and Big Jay Oakerson.

      Margaret Cho
Feb. 19, 10:30 pm, Vogue Theatre
Comedian Margaret Cho has always been the Agent Provocateur of stand-up. Never one to shy away from a difficult or even ‘taboo’ topic, there is no subject off limits. Her socially aware brand of comedy has made her both a thought leader as well as a teacher to those with open minds and open hearts. An accomplished performer in all formats, Cho has conquered the worlds of film, television, books and theatre.

      Eddie Pepitone
Feb. 25, 8:30 pm, the Comedy MIX
Eddie Pepitone is a force of nature on stage, switching between social rage and self-doubt. His shows are an energetic combination of calm and chaos, and blue-collar angst mixed with sardonic enlightenment. Eddie’s TV appearances include Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Comic Standing, and Chappelle’s Show. Fans might also recognize Pepitone from his role in the hit comedy Old School and his multiple award-winning short, Runyon: Just Above Sunset.

      Michael Che
Feb. 27, 7 pm, Biltmore Cabaret
Michael Che is currently the co-anchor of “Weekend Update” on Saturday Night Live, where he is also a writer. He was previously a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He can be seen in Chris Rock's film, Top Five.

      Ari Shaffir
February 18-20, various times, the Comedy MIX
Stand-up comedian and actor Ari Shaffir describes his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without puppets. He grew up Orthodox Jewish, spent two years in a Yeshiva in Israel, and came back to America to lose his religion and become a comic. Now with two stand-up specials and an upcoming late-night TV series, Ari is “a real force to be reckoned with.” (LA Weekly)

Big Jay Oakerson: What’s Your F*@#ing Deal?!
Feb. 24, 8:30 pm, the Comedy MIX
A Big Jay Oakerson original, “this crowd work only/no material” show presents top comics performing to you, for you, and about you. A huge hit at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival and most recently, SXSW.
