Photos: 2014 BMO Vancouver Marathon draws 16,000 runners

This past weekend, the 2014 BMO Vancouver Marathon attracted over 16,000 runners from dozens of countries.

Berhanu Mekonnen of Ethiopia won the men's marathon, with a time of 2:21:08.

Kimberley Doerksen of Gibsons took first place in the women's marathon, crossing the finish line at 2:37:00.

In the men's half marathon, Paul Kimugul of Kenya won again, with a record time of 1:02:36.

With a time of 1:15:18, Kate Bazeley of Corner Brook, N.L., won the women's half marathon.
