      On February 27, the Crazy8s 2016 Gala Screening and After Party comes to Vancouver.

      The gala screening, which starts at 7 pm at the Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts (777 Homer), is hosted by actor Ellie Harvie and will feature the premiere of six winning short films.

      This year's final six films include Shannon Kohli's "A Family of Ghosts", Matthew Campbell's "Grocery Store Action Movie", Joel Ashton McCarthy's "I Love You So Much It's Killing Them", Jesse Lupini's "Iteration 1", Patrick Currie's "Meet Cute", and Shauna Johannsen's "Trying".

      The after party, which starts at 9 pm at Science World at Telus World of Science (1455 Quebec), will include a red-carpet photo entrance, a chocolate fountain, food, cash bars, performances by Little India, Vova Bedzvin and Imi Oto, and the Crazy Dancers, as well as DJ sets by DJ Dubba G, DJ Ahtz, and DJ Emilita.

      Tickets for the Crazy8s 2016 Gala Screening and After Party are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
