The 37th annual Vancouver International Children’s Festival takes place on Granville Island from May 27 to June 1.

This year’s festival will feature professional performing artists from around the world in more than 70 shows at five Granville Island venues. The festival’s Activity Village is the perfect spot for families to get creative, with mask making, bicycle spin-art, origami, circus skills, and play area included.

Highlights of the Vancouver International Children’s Festival include beloved Canadian children’s singer Fred Penner; Erth Dinosaur Zoo, a larger-than-life dinosaur puppet show; and the English language premiere of Where I Live.

Tickets for featured performances are $15 to $25 and can be purchased online in advance. Activity wristbands are $8 and sold at the festival.
