The Vancouver Canadians won’t be pitching at Nat Bailey Stadium (4601 Ontario Street) until June 18, but baseball fans are invited to play at the ballpark ahead of the season home opener.

The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will host the annual Father’s Day Catch on June 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is free for all families to attend, and participants are asked to bring their own baseballs and gloves for a friendly game of catch.

Entrance to the event will be along the third-base side of Nat Bailey Stadium.

The Vancouver Canadians open their season with five away games in Salem, Oregon, on June 13. The three-time Northwest League champions will face the Spokane Indians in the home opener.
