Vancouver photographer Ema Peter among top five finalists in Architizer A+ Awards competition
Vancouver-based architectural photographer Ema Peter is a top five finalist, and the only Canadian photography finalist, in the international Architizer A+ Awards for her images of the Guildford Aquatic Centre in Surrey.
Designed by Bing Thom Architects and Shape Architecture, the Guilford Aquatic Centre is a 75,000 square foot expansion to the existing Guildford Recreation Centre.
The award winners will be announced on April 12, and are determined by public vote and jury vote.
“Through the awards’ public voting process, Architizer's mission is to break architecture out of its echo chamber and bring the buildings that are shaping today’s world to the forefront of cultural conversations,” says Peter in a press release.
“It’s an incredible honor to represent Canada amongst such a variety of international talent. I encourage everyone to view the portfolios and please vote.”
Peter’s photographs of Guilford Aquatic Centre can be viewed and voted on here until April 1, 2016.
