Homeless in Vancouver: Lookit the bloomin' handlebars on that bike

      It’s early August and here in Vancouver, you can feel the high tide of summer beginning to recede.

      That’s a bit of a downer. But if this is the end of summer it’s also the time of year for ripening fruit and in Mount Pleasant, at least, it’s when some of the bicycle handlebars are finally coming into bloom—better late than never!

      That’s the way it is in Mount Pleasant. The neighbourhood grows on you. Apparently it grows on everything else too.
