It's cut-off weather at the Squamish Valley Music Festival

Before leaving the house this morning, I had to make a choice between fashion and practicality. I opted to leave my ripped Chuck Taylors at home and instead wear my unsightly—but far more comfortable—brown and orange hiking shoes. I definitely made the right choice, since I'm going to spend my day on my feet, running frantically between stages on this large festival site.

On the other hand, I was a damn fool for thinking that I needed to wear full-length pants, since my jeans feel like an oven in this sweltering August sun. Does anyone here have scissors so I can turn these into cutoffs? If yes, then please flag me down as I'm making the desperate dash between the Tantalus Stage and the Stawamus Stage in my (possibly futile) attempt to see both Shad and Danny Brown, who are playing simultaneously.

No matter how hot I get, at least I'm probably more comfortable that the guy wearing a Superman sweat suit onesie, complete with a cape.
