The big Adams River sockeye run is one of the wonders of B.C.

Award-winning photographer Martin Gregus Jr. recently spent some time in Roderick Haig Brown Provincial Park capturing images of the salmon headed upstream to their spawning grounds.

Gregus is the project director for the One 50 Canada Society, which is behind the Thank you Canada multimedia project that aims to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation in 2017.

The plan is for Thank you Canada to produce a coffee-table book, photography exhibition, and documentary film.
