The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Vancouver International Travel Expo

The Vancouver International Travel Expo will be the largest general travel show Vancouver has seen in many years. The event takes place Friday September 23, 5pm to 9pm, and Saturday September 24, 11am to 7pm, at the Vancouver Convention Centre – East Exhibit Hall A.

Tickets are $10 at the door but discounted tickets can be purchased online here.

The very impressive list of 130+ exhibitors includes tourism boards from Ireland, China, Abu Dhabi, Thailand, Indonesia, Cook Islands, Malaysia, Israel, Barbados, India, Cuba, Korea, Jordan, Mexico, plus regional and city tourism boards.

Cruise companies will also be in attendance, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, MSC, Star Clippers and Celestyal. There will be 40 tour operators representing travel opportunities on every continent, 10 airlines, and dozens of hotels, resorts, river cruise companies, and attractions from around the world.

Two theatres will host free travel and photography seminars. More than $60,000 in travel related prizes will be given away. Many exhibitors will be offering show specials.
