We don't normally rush out to cover the latest vehicular accident. But when it happens just outside the office and involves public transit, it's worth making an exception.

Here's a couple photos of the scene of an accident that took place late this afternoon (January 2). A 99 B-Line bus T-boned a Honda car on West Broadway at Pine Street.

The car sustained most of the damage on its passenger side. According to a transit supervisor at the scene, no one was injured.

Danger, you seem to be attributing all the fault to the bus driver, is that known or assumed? Words are your tools. Make sure you're using the right ones or you'll look a bit like a ... tool!

Pine & Broadway is a bit of a dodgy intersection if you're travelling along Pine. From memory I'm pretty sure the lights are only pedestrian activated which means drivers on Pine St will chance the crossing across a wide Broadway. Unfortunately it was only a matter of time before this happened. Glad no one was hurt, hopefully the car's easy to repair.

OMFG! That was the bus I nearly took!
Instead, I let an elderly Chinese lady with sharp elbows and a nasty disposition barge in through the back doors ahead of me.
My God - when I think that could have been me!
Lets all come together in this time and remember our loved ones...

Your soft bigotry is noted. The race of the woman is irrelevant.

i was on this bus and i was in the back and when he hit i jumped because there was no barrier in front of me and had to grab a pole close to the first door. I ended up stretching my back and falling on a woman. I hope i didn't hurt her. my back is hurting me a bit though.
