      From October 18 to 29, Mamahood: turn and face the strange takes over the Firehall Arts Centre (280 E. Cordova).

      Written and performed by Nicolle Nattrass, the play tells the story of an extremely deprived first-time mother who travels to an alternate time and space.

      Told with humour and pathos, Mamahood: turn and face the strange sees the main character navigate unpredictable and strange events as she makes her way back home.

      The play is directed by Candian playwright and director TJ Dawe.
