The gritty, multilingual Asian Canadian crime drama series Blood and Water is hitting the home screen again with eight new half-hour episodes on OMNI Television, starting on November 13.

The series, produced in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, features Detective Jo Bradley (Steph Song) as she delves into murder cases—and winds up discovering more than she bargained for.

If you missed the first eight episodes of Season 1, you can bring yourself up to speed online at the OMNI website or at Rogers on Demand. Episode 8 is screening again on OMNI on Sunday (October 8) at 10:30 p.m. (PDT).

The series began with Jo getting her first case as a primary detective: investigating the death of Charlie Xie (Osric Chau), the son of a billionaire real-estate developer. As she looks deeper into the case, the Xie family closed ranks to protect their secrets.

But while Jo struggles to overcome her inexperience (and pressure from her partner Gorski) in her professional life, she also had to privately contend with a cancer diagnosis.

In the new episodes, Detective Jo is joined by Detective Evan Ong (Byron MannDragon Boys), a police hero from the Guns and Gangs Unit, on a new case.

In the wake of the death of his two sons, Ron Xie (Oscar Hsu) finds his company is under siege by his former partner and his partner's son (Telly Liu).

Meanwhile, Jo sets off on an attempt to find her biological family, which unearths some unexpected truths.

Returning cast members include Elfina Luk, Fiona Fu, and Loretta Yu, along with new cast member Aidan Devine.
