Room magazine's inaugural feminist literary festival Growing Room takes place from March 8 to 12 at Creekside Community Centre (1 Athlete’s Way, Vancouver) and 24 West 4th Avenue at Ontario Street--with additional events at the Vancouver Public Library, the Fox Cabaret, Cartems Donuterie, the Taste Lounge at Fivesixty, and Joy Kogawa House.

The festival lineup includes Evelyn Lau, Amber Dawn, Hiromi Goto, Lorna Crozier, Jen Sookfong Lee, Dina Del Bucchia, Carrie Mac, Sonnet L'Abbé, and more. 

The celebration of Canadian writers and artists will feature readings, panels, workshops, and more, including a launch party at the Fox with music by Sister Says.
