      What to expect: Stacked Comedy is a weekly Monday night standup comedy showcase hosted by Karl Sullivan and features some of the best Comedians working in Vancouver as well touring headliners from across the US and Canada.

      When and where: March 14 at Granville Island Brewing at 9 p.m.
      What to expect: We’re the team that brought the renowned Kings Head Comedy to life, and now bring the laughs to The Taproom at Granville Island Brewing.       What to expect: Plant yourself in a plush booth, graze on some pub grub, sip a beer or two, and laugh along with some new and hot standup comedy. Oh, by the way, nobody else is responsible if you laugh so hard beer comes out of your nose. Just warning you.       Vancouver Improv Fight Club and Short Form Mixer

      When and where: March 14 at Café Deux Soleils at 8 p.m.
      What to expect: Vancouver's finest comedians throw down at Vancouver Improv Fight Club. The main event this month is Polly & Chums versus Mysterium, with the audience deciding the champion. Then stick around for the Short Form Mixer, where audience members are invited to workshop and perform on the Cafe Deux Soleils stage. No experience necessary!

      Instant Theatre at Havana Theatre

      What to expect: 1994 was a big year for Vancouver. On a tiny stage in Gastown a band of Vancouver’s finest young comedic minds began to build what would become Instant Theatre Company: the home for alternative theatrical improv in Vancouver.
