Vancouver Pride Society seeks new co-executive director

While the Vancouver Pride Society recently announced a number of changes to its board of directors, another change is about to take place in the near future.

Kieran Burgess began his position as co-executive director in charge of operations in March 2016. Because he's on a two-year working visa from Australia, he has to return by November to his home country.

He will be present for the Pride parade on August 6, and will also be available for two months to oversee the transition to the next person to be appointed to the role.

This full-time position focuses on the administrative aspects of the society, including fundraising and financial elements.

Duties include managing administrative staff and volunteers, overseeing production and more of the Official Pride Guide, managing operational and financial systems, seeking funding opportunities, financial administration, and more.
