MONDAY: Los Angeles rapper Blackbear plays the Commodore, performing on his Digital DrugTour.

TUESDAY: Welsh post-punk alt-rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen play the Vogue Theatre. CANCELLED: refunds at point of purchase.

WEDNESDAY: local hard rock/metal band Uncle Sid plays a CD-release party at the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests Redwoods, the Underheads, and the I In Team.

THURSDAY: Grammy-winning R&B and soul-pop singer-songwriter John Legend plays Rogers Arena, with guest Gallant.

THURSDAY: Memphis singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Valerie June plays the Fox Cabaret, performing tunes from her latest album The Order of Time.

THURSDAYCanadian country singer-songwriter Dean Brody plays Abbotsford Centre, with guests Madeline Merlo and James Barker Band.

FRIDAY: politically-minded Australian rockers Midnight Oil play Malkin Bowl. Note: moved from original venue of Commodore.

FRIDAY: Canadian heavy-metal bands Unleash the Archers and Dead Asylum coheadline the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests Pyramidion and the Mountain Man.

FRIDAY: Coastal Jazz presents vocalist Tom Pickett and alto saxophonist Cory Weeds with his quintet in the first night of Tribute to Cannonball and Cleanhead at Frankie's Jazz.
