This year, theatre fans can take advantage of the Accessible Series at Bard on the Beach.

VocalEye will be presenting described performances for matinee showings at the BMO Mainstage Theatre Tent on July 15 and 23 at 2 p.m. for those who are blind, partially sighted, or visually impaired.

New this year is a relaxed performance of Much Ado About Nothing on September 10 at 2 p.m., which caters to patrons who may benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those with intellectual or learning disabilities, autism, sensory and communication processing conditions, or anyone for whom the regular theatre experience can be challenging.

Other inclusive measures at Bard on the Beach include full wheelchair accessability at both the BMO Mainstage Theatre Tent and the Douglas Campbell Theatre Tent and four assistive-listening devices available for any performance at the BMO Mainstage Theatre Tent.
