If you can stand massive crowds but you still like a good fireworks show, we've got you covered.

That's because thanks to social media, you can see images of the Canada Day pyrotechnics in Vancouver from the comfort of your own home. Or from your favourite coffee shop, on the bus, or anywhere else.

You don't have to head downtown with hundreds of thousands of others anymore.

All you have to do is scroll down and look at the following images.

According to Vancouver police, there were 350,000 to 400,000 people attending Canada Day celebrations at their peak.

The vast majority were well-behaved and only one person was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

Another two were busted for breash of the peace and about 80 liquor pour-outs occurred at locations other than Canada Place, where nobody was spotted doing anything naughty.
