Premier John Horgan was joined by a large contingent of New Democrats at today's Korean Cultural Heritage Festival at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.

The annual event features lots of K-pop along with tasty Korean dishes, Korean drumming, and this year, Middle Eastern and Chinese dance.

In recent years, there have been amazing tae dwon do demonstrations by South Korean martial artists from Kukkiwon, which is considered the sport's world headquarters.

"Hulk" Horgan himself showed his chops in the image below.

But if you really want to see tae kwon at its most amazing, check out the slow-motion video below.

It was sent out on Delta North NDP MLA and former Olympics field hockey star Ravi Kahlon's Twitter feed.

Below, you can see two videos of the Kukkiwon tae kwon do artists taken at Swangard Stadium at the festival in 2015.

In the 2011 census, 53,770 British Columbians reported that they had Korean ancestry. Of those, 49,880 lived in Metro Vancouver.
