A few weeks after cancelling the remaining dates on his Purpose tour (because he wants his career to be SUSTAINABLE), Justin Bieber dropped a new single today. "Friends" is a collaboration with BloodPop, aka Michael Tucker. Tucker, who formerly used the nom de studio Blood Diamonds, is from Kansas and is now based in Los Angeles, but for a few years he lived in Vancouver, where he was studying video editing. It was while in Vancouver that Tucker first started getting attention for his music-production skills. Tucker has writing and production credits on five of the tracks from Bieber's 2015 album Purpose, including the Billboard No. 1 hit single "Sorry".
