If you're an expert traveler, you may want to consider auditioning for one of Canada's most-watched TV series.

CTV announced today (October 12) that it has renewed The Amazing Race Canada for a sixth season.

Casting is now open and applicants can team up with someone they think will make a great partner, ranging from family members to friends.

What's new this year is that anyone can nominate someone they view as a hero and who they think should compete in the race. (Videos are optional for a nomination.)

The deadline for applications and nominations is at 8:59 p.m. PT (11:59 p.m. ET) on November 29.

Instructions on how to submit an audition video or nomination are available the CTV website.

Season 5, which visited China, Thailand, and Panama, was won by dating couple Sam Lambert and Paul Mitskopoulos from Ontario.

So far, no teams from British Columbia have won the race. With the exception of Ontario lesbian couple Steph LeClair and Kristen McKenzie, all the winners have been male—not to mention pretty much all white and mostly from Ontario.

So how about it, British Columbians—is it time for B.C. to win the next season?
