Duff McKagan charms Vancouver crowd by praising DOA and the Subhumans

The opening act, Loaded, has earned itself a couple more fans and filled seats with the Guns N' Roses cover "So Fine".

And Duff McKagan's expressed love for Vancouver punk bands DOA and the Subhumans also garnered more than a few cheers from the rain-city crowd. We can't disagree, the man's a charmer.

Kristi Alexandra is filing items of interest from the Guns N' Roses show at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. Check out her full review on Sunday (December 18) at Straight.com.

The fact Duff gave shout outs to Randy Rampage for inspiring him to play the bass and Ron Reyes for being in one of his first bands was true blue music stuff. The set was great and very much connected with the audience. Takes a man to open for THE band which made him famous. You deserve the Hall of Fame.

Duff is awesome, what a huge bonus to have Loaded open for GNR, a bit weird, in a good way. I agree with Classy Dude, takes a real man to do that!!! What a great show!!!
