There's a new metric for measuring how people suck up to power—and for how fast followers abandon ship when that person no longer becomes useful.

According to mashable.com, they're dumping Republican presidential candidate as Facebook friends at an alarming rate.

"Since 11:30 on Tuesday, more than 55,025 users have unliked the Massachusetts Governor, at a rate of about 847 an hour," mashable.com states.

Even George W. Bush couldn't claim numbers like that after leaving office.
