The Georgia Straight presents Hayden at the Rio Theatre

Live Nation has announced that Canadian folk-rock singer-songwriter Hayden will perform an all-ages show at the Rio Theatre--with guest Lou Canon--on Saturday, March 23, in support of his upcoming album.

The Toronto-based artist, active since 1994, will release his seventh studio album, Us Alone, on February 5.

Since his emergence from Toronto’s alternative scene with 1995’s Everything I Long For, Hayden has performed most instruments on his records, almost always engineering, mixing, and producing, as well as self-releasing on his own label, Hardwood Records.

Back from a four-year hiatus, Hayden is embarking on a North American tour in March.

Tickets for the show are priced at $29.50 (plus service charges) and go on sale this Friday (January 11) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets will also be available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
