The Georgia Straight presents the Jon and Roy Holiday Special at the Vogue

Live Nation has announced that Victoria-based folk-rock group Jon and Roy will perform an all-ages holiday special show—along with guests Kim Churchill, Wake Owl, Frazey Ford, and Vince Vaccaro—at the Vogue Theatre on Friday, December 21.

Consisting of longtime friends and collaborators Jon Middleton (guitar/vocals) and Roy Vizer (drums/percussion), Jon and Roy has released four studio albums, including 2012’s Let it Go. The group has performed with the likes of Mother Mother, Damien Jurado, Bahamas, Hannah Georgas, the Cat Empire, and Xavier Rudd, and its songs have been gaining exposure on national television.

This year marks the second installation of the Holiday Special at the Vogue.

Tickets for the show are priced at $25 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (November 9) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
