The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors lux/nox with musica intima and Pacific Baroque Orchestra

Get into the holiday spirit when Vancouver-based vocal ensemble musica intima joins forces with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra for an evening of advent music. Lux/nox takes place at St. John’s Shaughnessy Anglican Church (1490 Nanton Avenue) on Saturday (November 17) at 7:30 p.m. and at St. Andrew’s United Church (1044 St. Georges Avenue, North Vancouver) on Sunday (November 18) at 2:30 p.m.

Lux/nox will feature music by J. S. Bach and Marc-Antoine Charpentier. Pacific Baroque Orchestra’s artistic director Alexander Weimann will conduct the concerts, and guest artist Curtis Foster will perform on baroque oboe.

Tickets to lux/nox are between $9 and $32, and can be purchased online in advance.
