The Firehall Arts Centre presents Medicine, a solo show featuring TJ Dawe at the Firehall Arts Centre (208 East Cordova Street) from January 3 to 5, 11 to 12.
Medicine shares Dawe’s experience of joining a retreat with addictions physician Dr. Gabor Maté. During the retreat, participants were instructed to ingest ayahuasca, an Amazonian psychotropic plant, and confront their demons. Dawe, a Vancouver-based writer, director, and performer, has appeared in over 100 theatre and comedy festivals.
