New charity single: Africa for Norway

The Live Aid concert and Band Aid supergroup raised oodles of money for African famine relief.

Now, some Africans want to return the favour by helping some Europeans cope with cold winter weather.

They've recorded a single to help fund the shipment of radiators to Norway as part of a project called Radi-Aid. "Frostbite kills too," the group's spokesperson says with the requisite degree of seriousness and compassion. "Africa—we need to make a difference in Norway."

You, too, can help the freezing folks in Norway.

I don't get it. I mean I get it but I don't find it funny or brilliant as some of my friends seem to think. It's amusing, so perhaps I'm missing something.

You are missing a sense of subtle irony, humor.

You're right- it IS subtle irony. It's not laugh out loud though, right?

It helps to know that Norway is one of the richest country in the world.
