The free event will be held at Jericho Beach Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Courses include basic canoeing, basic sea kayaking, introduction to standup paddling, and surfski paddling. Certified instructors will be teaching the courses.

There will also be presentations on subjects such as yoga sport for paddlers, and boat outfitting and safety. According to MEC, the event will also feature a marketplace where people can purchase, sell, and trade gear and accessories.

There will be food vendors onsite, and the Galley restaurant on the second floor of the Jericho Sailing Centre will be open for business.
