Port Moody’s Chomp Vegan Eatery to celebrate grand opening

Thanks to Chomp Vegan Eatery (7-201 Morrissey Road, Port Moody), residents of Metro Vancouver’s Tri-Cities can finally go out for a bite to eat at an all-vegan and gluten-free establishment in their neck of the woods.

The restaurant will have been serving dishes like the Mac ’n Cheesy and the Full-afel for almost seven weeks on January 12. That’s the date that Chomp owner Vanessa Mills has picked for the eatery’s grand-opening celebration.

The event takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. and promises live music and gift-card draws. Ten percent of the restaurant’s sales that night will go to the Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Society.
