As part of the Beyond Words series, Evans will reveal accounts of hope and hardship from France’s Calais refugee camp as told in her 2017 graphic novel Threads: From the Refugee Crisis.
The annual free festival of reading and writing celebrates the literary community with approximately 100 readings and presentations, 150 authors and panelists, 25 workshops, and 75 exhibitors.
As part the New Works at Night series, dance fans can take in three duets by six female artists, which are curated by choreographer and artist Justine A. Chambers.
