Coincidence? The social network Twitter's announcement that it will withhold tweets in specific countries came just over a month after a member of the Saudi royal family became a big investor.

Last month, Bloomberg reported that Prince Alwaleed bin Talal sunk $300 million.

He is reportedly the richest man in the Arab world, with a net worth of $21.3 billion, according to Arabian Business magazine.

Twitter recently caused a backlash among some of its followers by announcing that it will abide by the wishes of dictatorial regimes and censor tweets in those countries.
