Vancouver is a difficult, beautiful, angering, complex, alluring beast. We all have our gripes with living here, and those gripes often end up published in these very pages. But this month we’re all about celebrating the good. The great. The best, you might say.
Thanks to the thousands of you, our smart and engaged (and extremely hot, we can only assume) readers, who voted in our annual Best of Vancouver Awards. Together you’ve helped us showcase and highlight some of the amazing people, businesses, and ideas that make up the fabric of this place.
Vancouver is greater than the sum of its parts, but it sure is nice to take a beat every once in a while to clap for the individuals. We’ll go back to complaining next month.
