The Toronto Police Service has taken a notoriously hard line against storefront cannabis operations.

This could also apply to officers who dip their hands into the stash.

According to Global News, two Toronto lawmen have been suspended "after allegedly consuming marijuana seized during a dispensary raid".

Toronto police are not confirming that the suspension was related to weed.

However, Global cited an unnamed police source who claimed that "the officers helped themselves to some of the bounty" from a weekend enforcement action.

"One of them reportedly felt like he was going to pass out, and was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital," Global News stated, citing a polce call, "while another was said to be 'conscious but nauseous'."

If all of this is true, perhaps the next time, they should stick with strains that are higher in CBD and lower in THC and CBN.
