Vancouver-born actor, director and screenwriter Seth Rogen says he can't wait to return to Canada now that cannabis is legal.

"I feel like it's one of those things I manifested," Rogen told late-night talk-show host Stephen Colbert. "It's something I wanted so badly."

Colbert noted that this must make Rogen an "avatar", which drew chuckles from the crowd.

Rogen then said that making recreational cannabis legal is "the reasonable thing to do".

"It is something that can enhance the lives of people," he added. "It's enhanced my life since I was 13 years old, I honestly think.

"So that's probably too young for most people to start enhancing their lives, but for me personally, it was good."
