Expert Edibles: Mary Jean “Watermelon” Dundson’s Spinach Puff Pie

Vancouver’s iconic weed pin-up and activist shares her recipe for a savoury pastry

      This week, the weed diva brings viewers back into her kitchen with another delicious infused recipe. While she uses a blend of broccoli and green onions in her Spinach Puff Pies, Watermelon says you can get creative with these hearty savoury pastries.

      Spinach Puff Pie

      What you’ll need:

      • 4 grams of shake flower or 2 grams of dried flower
      • Fresh dill
      • Filo pastry
      • Spinach
      • Mixed greens (Watermelon uses broccoli)
      • Green onions
      • 3 eggs
      • Milk
      • Butter or olive oil
      • Feta cheese
      • Pinch of salt
